Bogey walks again with the help of experimental leg braces from Vanderbilt

main[1]Broken bones in Bogey’s legs had never healed properly, so the dog’s owners turned to engineering researchers at Vanderbilt University in Nashville for help. Faculty and student researchers devised a pair of innovative thermoplastic leg braces for Bogey that could help pave the way for inexpensive prosthetics for humans and animals.
